Led by EVV Implementation expert Christie Watson, the Provider Experience team will support the rapid growth of the Company’s payer business.
New York – May 4, 2021 – HHAeXchange (“HHAX” or “the Company”), the leading provider of homecare management solutions for payers, providers, and state Medicaid agencies, today announced that it will be forming a Provider Experience team to better support its growing payer business and ensure successful provider onboarding. The team will be led by Christie Watson, who has been promoted to Vice President & General Manager of Payer Solutions after having served as Vice President of Implementation and most recently as Vice President of Client Success for Payer Solutions.
These changes come in response to the significant expansion of HHAX’s Payer business in recent years with an increasing number of MCO and State Medicaid partners. Highlights of the Company’s growing client list include New Jersey and West Virginia having selected HHAX as their State aggregator for EVV, and all seven of North Carolina’s LMEs selecting HHAX to help them comply with the Cures Act. Additionally, this March, the Company was awarded a contract from Alabama to provide modular EVV tools and aggregation to the State and its providers.
The creation of the Provider Experience team under Watson will enable the Company to accelerate provider onboarding and adoption as well as foster increased collaboration between payers and providers using HHAeXchange’s EVV platform.
“Christie Watson has been an integral part of our company’s success on the Payer side over the last five years and has led successful implementations to meet the Cures Act EVV mandate across multiple states with many MCO and state clients,” said Greg Strobel, CEO of HHAeXchange. “With Christie leading the new Provider Experience team, we are further supporting our payer clients and their provider networks with a dedicated team of experts to support them and drive increased operational efficiencies.”
In her expanded role, Watson will be responsible for leading the Company’s payer revenue management and growth efforts and will provide operational oversight for all aspects of the Payer business.
“We’ve always operated with the goal of ensuring excellent service delivery for both payers and providers,” said Watson. “The formation of this new team will allow us to better support users of our system and ensure that they have dedicated training and support to get the most out of HHAeXchange.”
Watson, who is based in Ohio, will report directly to Brian Portewig, Senior Vice President of Client Implementation and Adoption.
