HHAeXchange will serve 9,000+ Medicaid members through North Carolina’s LME/MCO plans.
New York – October 15, 2020 – HHAeXchange, a leading provider of homecare management solutions for payers, providers, and state Medicaid agencies, announced today that it has contracted with all seven of North Carolina’s local management entities/managed care organizations (LME/MCOs) to help them ensure compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act.
North Carolina’s LME/MCOs are responsible for managing and monitoring the provision of public mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and substance use disorder services for Medicaid beneficiaries and uninsured individuals in the regions they serve. Under the 21st Century Cures Act, all North Carolina Medicaid managed care organizations are required to implement Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) by January 1, 2021.
After independently evaluating the HHAeXchange platform, each North Carolina LME/MCO selected HHAeXchange as their EVV vendor. In total, HHAeXchange will serve more than 9,000 Medicaid members through North Carolina’s LME/MCO plans.
