I’m proud to share the news of some exciting recent developments at HHAeXchange. We’ve taken a significant step forward in our mission to enable caregivers, families, providers, and payers to deliver the best care in the home through the recent acquisitions of Cashé Software and Generations Homecare System. These acquisitions represent more than just business transactions. They align with our commitment to empowering Home-and Community-Based Services (HCBS) providers with the industry’s best tools and solutions, ultimately enhancing the care experience for caregivers and members nationwide. 

Acquisition of Cashé Software 

On June 17, HHAeXchange acquired Cashé Software, a Minnesota-based provider of homecare operations and billing solutions. This acquisition brings together two companies sharing a common vision and values, aimed at driving innovation and excellence in homecare. Since 2004, Cashé has provided advanced technology and services to simplify and streamline mission-critical processes, benefiting more than 400 HCBS agencies in Minnesota. Our solutions portfolio will now include Cashé’s innovative product, Pavillio, which helps agencies get paid faster, increase team capacity, eliminate error-prone manual processes, and automate revenue cycle management. 

Acquisition of Generations Homecare System 

On June 24, HHAeXchange acquired Michigan-based Generations Homecare System, an all-in-one homecare agency management software solution that gives providers the ability to connect care teams, simplify daily tasks, and maintain compliance. The company supports over 700 customers in 48 states. This acquisition expands our footprint, enhances our homecare software platform, and brings talented professionals with deep homecare technology expertise to our team. 

Meeting Industry Needs with Shared Commitment to Homecare and Innovation 

The HCBS industry is poised for tremendous additional growth, with the demand expected to rise 43% for personal care aides and 42% for home health aides between 2020 and 2035. As the demand for home and community-based services (HCBS) trends upward, so does the importance of operational management, effective workforces, and compliance rates. These acquisitions are aligned with the growing industry’s needs and will empower our customers with the tools they require to successfully navigate the changing landscape. 

Both Cashé and Generations have a long history of supporting HCBS agencies and caregivers through advanced technology and exceptional service. The acquisitions will result in more robust, market-leading homecare solutions that drive operational efficiency, increase compliance, and improve health outcomes. By empowering providers with these tools and enhancements, which are crucial to success, we’ll enable the delivery of better care and support in the comfort of the home.
