We recently completed our third strategic acquisition of this year, adding Sandata, a software company that has supported the homecare industry for over four decades, to our portfolio. Sandata has established a strong national presence with 23 state Medicaid Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) contracts and over 20,000 homecare agencies utilizing its technology. The Sandata team brings deep industry expertise and valuable relationships that will undoubtedly enhance HHAeXchange’s position in our competitive market.
The combined teams and capabilities of HHAeXchange, Sandata, Cashé, and Generations position us exceptionally well to tackle homecare’s challenges and opportunities. Furthermore, significant growth in the demand for home and community-based services (HCBS) is intensifying the need for innovative solutions: A recent study by the National Center for Health Workforce Analysis projects that demand for personal care aides and home health aides will each increase by more than 40% by 2035 – ensuring that operational management, effective workforces, and compliance have never been more important.
Caregivers are essential to the homecare ecosystem and they are increasingly looking for technology that makes their day-to-day frictionless. The industry’s solutions of the future need to ensure exceptional service to caregivers, giving them peace of mind to focus on their true jobs: supporting people in the home and in communities.
