Provider Portal Questionnare

Update on Alabama Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) services.

The State of Alabama has recently decided that, effective October 1, 2024, EVV claims can no longer be submitted through HHAeXchange. Because of this change your office will need to implement a new workflow for billing. More information regarding this change and these new workflows can be found here

Although billing is impacted, Alabama Providers are still able to:

  • Receive authorizations from Payers
  • Schedule Patient visits
  • Confirm visits
  • Perform Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
  • Complete Prebilling
  • Create invoices in HHAeXchange

Enrollment for the Alabama state sponsored EVV solution is now closed. For additional questions, please refer to the email that your state sent out earlier this week.

HHAeXchange Overview (applicable to ALL providers):

Information Sessions are being held for all providers to provide them with key dates and details about the implementation, including key workflow changes, system benefits, and next steps. Please refer to the links below to access videos and presentations from the Provider Info Sessions, held via webinar in December 2021.
